Saturday saw a busy day delivering a van full of WildFires from Strathblane, Balfron, Buchlyvie, Kippen, Stirling - the final stop was up at Laggan Glamping with 4 of these handsome Stags finding their new home. It was great to meet you Stevie and thanks for trialling the different log types, incredibly helpful. I post Stevie's words below which I hope you'll find helpful.
"We decided on the Stags head design for the fire boxes and 4 or them were delivered today. We have tested the first one this evening and it is fantastic.
We have trialled 4 different types of wood and have found the best to be a man made hardwood log that gives off a great heat with hardy any smoke, and each one lasts for a long time.
So now all our guests can sit out on the patio decks and take in the starry skies whilst staying warm and toasty. As a bonus its possible to cook on the top of the fire boxes and of course toasting marshmallows is a must.
We will have one of these on each of our pod decks ready for our opening on the 1st December. And will be selling wood sacks along with eco firelights that are suitable for the fireboxes and the details of these will be on our online ordering app."
