Single Blue Vivaro Seeks Adventurous New Owner...

Updated: Oct 2, 2021

This wee beastie has been with me 6 years now and has given me more luxury and freedom than any 13 year old van should have done. He's joined me visiting family and friends around the UK, been there at the end of many a mountain and long walk, a #BenNevis summer solstice midnight climb providing the best nights sleep ever and made more cups of tea than I dare to count. This is Harvey. Harvey RV if you want his full Sunday name and because of him, I could never go back to a car again... For those contemplating a camper van but feel it may be too big, a medium van of this size is a great start. When I first drove Harvey I thought I would topple over going around corners because I was so high up, I didn't think I would be able to park, I thought I would clip the kerbs, bump other cars in parking spaces but those fears soon became memories (but yes, I do still clip the kerbs now and again, you can see the evidence in the wheel trims!!)

The time has come for Harvey to go to his next owner as I am looking for something with a wee bit more space and although he has 173,000 miles on he clock, there are many, many more adventures to be had...

Other stuff:-

  • Manual gears,

  • Radio/CD player,

  • Electric windows (all working),

  • Tinted privacy glass,

  • 173,000 miles on the clock (will slightly increase as I still drive it most days),

  • 3 seats (and seat belts!) the sofa bed does not have seat-belts,

  • Lights and 12v points all round,

  • Double sliding door,

  • Tail gate opening,

  • Double passenger seat swivels to face the back,

  • Side to side sofa bed with 10cm memory foam mattress (seat pulls towards the passenger sliding door, back unhooks (driver side) from the upright frame and folds flat on the base),

  • Three handy storage boxes underneath (one a bit broken, not the best quality boxes!)

  • Comes with SilverScreen,

  • Comes with awning (which i don't have pictures off as we've never used it!),

  • Single gas hob at the back so you can stand under the tailgate and cook/prepare,

  • Shelf above kitchen unit accessed through via the cab,

  • Injectors done about 10,000 miles ago and no issues since

  • The rusty frame at the back tow ball will be taken off and towball refitted.

Overall, this is in excellent condition for age with the usual light scratches here and there, small rust spots at the edges, a worn driver seat edge (see picture) but, unlike me, everything is in perfectly working order.
